As some of you may know, our Life Member and Team Grading & Fixtures Extraordinaire, Gail Morris has recently been hospitalised with invasive tumours.
The cost of her medical expenses are dramatic, and we’re looking to ease the financial burden on her family.
Lawrie McKinna CEO of Newcastle Jets has kindly organised a donation of an Outdoor Private Box for 12 people, including game entry and food for a Newcastle Jets home game.
To complement this, Steve from Elders Real Estate Lambton has chipped in $300 to go towards drinks on the day.
We’re asking clubs and their members for interest in buying a raffle ticket for $20ea. All funds raised will go directly towards Gail and her family to assist in her medical expenses.
To buy your ticket, please email Ainsleigh at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, contact number, and email address. As well as number of tickets being purchased by either individuals or the club.
We hope that clubs would be interested in buying numerous tickets on behalf of their members, and individual purchases from members would be fantastic.
Upon receipt of your email we will send you an invoice to be paid into our bank account, holding in trust until the funds will be transferred to Gail.
Tickets will be on sale from now up until and during, the Newcastle Football Awards Dinner (Friday 22nd September) and the raffle will be drawn via “random number generator” on the night.
If the winner is not there, the prize will be held at Newcastle Football Office for your collection from Monday 25th September.
Please note: Invoiced ticket sales will cease on Wednesday 20th September, and cash sales only will be taken on the night.
